  • Sunday August 28 3-6pm: Pittsburgh Human Rights Picnic Frick Park—Forbes & Braddock Shelter--Join community activists and groups working for human rights in Pittsburgh. The Human Rights City Alliance, Cities for CEDAW coalition, Homes For All – Pittsburgh, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, and other human rights activist networks will host an end-of-summer picnic to network and share updates on work happening to promote the right to housing, women’s rights, and other human rights. Come learn how you can support these exciting projects! Build friendships and solidarity. Bring food/beverage to share if you wish.
  • October 12, 2016- Indigenous Peoples Day (Take Action)
  • November 10-12, 2016 Pittsburgh Housing Summit, University of Pittsburgh

  • Campus worker organizing: Pitt faculty, graduate student workers, and other workers are organizing for their rights and to support and protect the right to education. Keep informed about the campaign on their website and Facebook page
